The straps are leather and snap off so you can wash the silicone: it is boilable, bleachable in a 10 percent solution and dishwasher safe. Velcro on the straps allow for maximum adjustment for head size and ease of fitting.
The gag is attached to a 26 inch leather strap that secures in the back via velcro.
